Group exhibitions include 'Tentative Kiss: Japanese Contemporary Photography' at Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography and others in 2000, 'Transformation of Everyday' at the Museum of Modern Art, Gunma in 2004 as well as overseas. His works were also bought by Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography and the Japan Foundation for public collections purpose.
His latest exhibition after winning the Award, titled 'How to contact with a man' was shown at Zeit-Foto Salon in October 2006. At the same time, his second photo collection 'Ryudai Takano; 1993-1996' under 'ca.ra.ma.ru' series from Sokyusha was published.
