The retrospective of Kusama's works is on view at PAC Milan. The internationally renowned avant-garde artist, recognisable by massive pumpkins vividly painted with polka-dots, is showing recent figurative and abstract paintings, and a selection of formative drawings from the 1950s and 60s. There are large-scale monster flowers sculptures and installations from the last decade. She has completed major outdoor sculptural commissions for public and private institutions since 1994.

The exhibition also includes �eNarcissus Garden�f, a sensational installation first exhibited at Venice Biennale(1996). Kusama produced an environment of 1500 mirror balls with the assistance of Lucio Fontana. Each sphere was on sale for 1,200 lire, focusing attention on the commercial aspects of the Biennale.

Now, Kusama's work is in the collections of leading museums throughout the world,
including the Museum of Modern Art, New York, Tate Modern, London and others.
