Purchase of artworks
Steps of purchasing
- 1. Before Inquiry
- Please confirm FAQ (Purchase, Payment Method, Delivery and Cancellation and Return) before you go to Inquiry Sheet
- 2. Price of the Art works
- The prices in display are excluded the cost of frame, packing, shipping and insurance. If you want us to arrange it, we will add their cost in the estimate and arrange for you. Some of which is represented on this web site are included either (or both) cost of packing or frame. Pleaseˇˇfeel free to contact us.
- 3. Inquiry
- If you have an artwork which you are interested in, in the Artwork page, please click the Inquiry button to go to the Inquiry Sheet, then fill in the sheet and send it to us.

- 4. Estimate
- After receiving Inquiry Sheet, we will send you the estimate and the Order Sheet by return email.
- 5. Receiving the completed Order Sheet by email or Fax constitutes a formal order from you.
- Fill in your personal detail such as Billing Information, Shipping Information and Payment Method if
you have not done so in the Inquiry sheet, as well as the card detail if you choose credit card for payment. Then, please send the Order Sheet by fax or email. The fax or the email constitutes a formal order.
Order Sheet
- 6. Agreement of sale
- On receiving your order as described in 5, we will send you the confirmation by email. We deem the sale agreement to be reached when you received the email.
- 7. Payment method
- If you have chosen to pay by Wire Transfer, we will send you the invoice by email. Please pay by the due date. If you have chosen to pay by Credit Card, we will charge the amount when we have shipped your purchase.
<Money Transfer>
Payment is conducted by Jpapanese Yen. Please pay by the due date which is mentioned in our confirmation. We ship the purchased item to your requested location after confirming your payment. Bank transfer fee is paid by the buyer. In case we find the artwork out of stock after your payment, we immediately inform you of it and pay you back.
<Credit Card>
We let you know the amount of japanese Yen before the agreement. Then, we will charge it through your creditcard. In case we find the artwork out of stock after your payment, we immediately inform you of it and pay you back.
- 8. Shipping of your purchase
- When we ship your item, we will inform you the Fedex Tracking Number, so that you can go to the Fedex Web site to check your delivery details. The ownership of the artwork is transferred to you when you receive the artwork.
Please note that you have to pay Import Duty upon arrival in your residential country. the amount should be based on your country's tax regulations.
Cancellation and return
We will not accept cancellation and return after the agreement of sale is reached.
However if you received the wrong item or if there is a quality issue or damage, please contact our customer center by email or by fax in 2weeks after the artwork reached your address. We will not accept any claim and refund requirement after 2weeks have passed since the artwork reached your address.
Shipping and insurance costs
Shipping, Insurance and Import Duty is to be paid by the buyer.
Exclusion of liability
We, Tagboat, has no responsibility to any damage caused by delayed delivery that is the responsibility of the shipping company.
