When will my work ship?
Artworks ship within 14 business days unless otherwise noted on the artwork page.
When your work has shipped, you will receive an e-mail confirmation with a tracking number so that you can track the status of your shipment.

When will my work be delivered?
Once you have been notified that your work has shipped, use the tracking number provided to track the estimated delivery date. Until the work has shipped, we are unable to confirm an exact delivery date.

Do I need to be home when the work is delivered?
Yes. Someone needs to be at your place of residence to accept and sign for your package. We require direct signature on our packages due the valuable nature of the art we are shipping.

How is sales tax calculated on my order?
Sales tax is only charged to those who order from and ship to Japan.

How do you handle duties and taxes for those living outside the Japan?
Duties and taxes are added to your order based on your current country rates.
Does TAGBOAT Ship Internationally?
Yes, TAGBOAT ships to most international countries. If you do not see your country listed in our dropdown menu on the checkout page, please contact customer.tagboat@tagboat.com and we can discuss our ability to ship to your country.

How do you determine shipping costs?
Shipment costs are determined by the size, weight, and retail price of the item you are purchasing, as well as the delivery location. Smaller works cost less to ship, and larger works, especially those that require unique crating or packaging materials, will cost more to ship.

Does TAGBOAT insure all shipments?
Yes. TAGBOAT insures all shipments, so that in the case of loss or damage during shipping we can easily replace any works that were damaged during transit. If this occurs, please contact customer.tagboat@tagboat.com and we will resolve the problem as quickly as possible.

How do you handle shipping?
Works sold on TAGBOAT are carefully packed in the most safe and secure method possible based on work itself.

I ordered multiple works. Can I combine them all into one shipment to lower shipping costs?
Generally, we cannot combine works into a single shipment. This is due to the fact that many of the works on our site ship from various locations around the world, and are not stored in a single facility. If you have specific questions about shipping costs of multiple items, please contact customer.tagboat@tagboat.com

I ordered multiple works. Will they all ship at the same time?

Your works will ship out as soon as possible based on the estimated shipping window noted on each individual artwork page. As most of our works ship from various locations around the world, we cannot guarantee that all of the works will ship at the same time.

Can I return a piece I have received?

All works on our site that are offered through our outside partnerships are final sale items. Thus, we are unable to accept returns for these artworks except in the case of damage during shipping.

What should I do if I receive a damaged work?
First, please take pictures of the outer packaging with detailed shots of damage to the box or protective layering. Then take detailed pictures of the damage to the artwork itself. This will assist in filing a claim with the shipper.
Please send the photos tocustomer.tagboat@tagboat.com along with your name, order number, and the item you purchased. We will file a claim with the shipping service and work with you to order a replacement. TAGBOAT can only replaced damaged items within 6 months of the date of delivery. Thus, it is imperative to open your artwork as soon as you receive it and alert us of any damage immediately.

Can I come see the work in person if I live in Japan.
Unfortunately, we do not have our inventory available for viewing at our corporate offices.

I am an artist and would like to show my work on your site. How do I do so?
You can submit your work to our art director for consideration on TAGBOAT by emailing tngs@tagboat.com . Due to the large volume of submissions we receive, you will only be contacted if your work has been selected for inclusion.

How do I know that the artwork is authentic?
TAGBOAT is the trusted source for contemporary art online. We take pride in our proprietary process, working directly with artists and galleries, to provide the best collection of original contemporary artworks in the world. All works are either signed by the artist or are accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
