初めて人間と出くわしたムカデ Centipede Who Came Across a Human at the First Time

ある日人間と初めて出くわし、殺されかけ、心を傷つけられてしまったムカデです。
今まで私達人間の殺意の受容体としてしか見ることができなかった彼らの世界に入り込み、やや人の生活の様相を呈する彼らのプライベートな時間を少し覗き見ながら、彼らに一度共感してみようと試みています。

紙にシルクスクリーン印刷をしています。(機械刷りではなく手刷りです。)
アクリル絵の具を使用しているので耐光性はありますが、直射日光は避けてご鑑賞ください。
フレームは表面がやや木の風合いの残る優しいホワイト、側面に作品と近い黄色が塗装されています。(既製品)
植物の物陰の床置きが個人的におすすめです。

He/She is a centipede who encounters a human being for the first time one day, is almost killed, and is deeply hurt and saddened.
am attempting to enter their world, which until now we have only been able to see as receptors of our human killing intent, and to empathize with them once more as I take a little peek into their private time, which somewhat resembles the life of a person.

This is a screen-printed work on paper. (It is hand-printed, not machine-printed.)
The acrylic paints used are lightfast but should be kept out of direct sunlight.
The frame is painted in soft white with a slightly wooden surface, and the sides are painted in a yellow color similar to that of the work. (Ready-made frame)
I recommend placing it on the floor in the shade of a plant.

Profile

人間の影響を受けて変化していく生き物たちを描くことで、自分達が抱える問題を客観的にみることはできないか。また、言葉を持たないそれらの生き物の情動を探る時のように、多様な価値観を持って議論し、問題と向き合うことはできないか。そのような問いかけを、糾弾ではない方法で行うことを自身の制作の課題としています。

Profile

By depicting creatures that are changing under the influence of humans, I aim to look objectively at the issues human society faces. And I want to discuss and confront them with diverse values, just as when exploring the emotions of these creatures without languages. The challenge of my creation is to do so in a way that is not a rebuke of society's problems, with allegorical elements.
