This work serves as the symbolic centerpiece of Masakatsu Sashie’s solo exhibition, held to commemorate the 9th anniversary of Kanazawa Art GUMI.
Comprising eleven unique pieces derived from a single spherical sculpture, each work bears the artist’s handwritten signature on the back.

In this exhibition, fragments of everyday scenery—accumulated over the flow of time from past to present—are gathered and reconstructed from multiple directions to express the “landscape of the present.”
Through this process, the artist seeks to reexamine his own position within the continuum of time and existence.

The way each work is perceived depends greatly on the viewer’s personal experiences, memories, and underlying awareness of social issues.
