ミラー加工のアクリル板にUV印刷を施し、その上からアクリル絵の具で加筆をした作品になります。
鏡は現実と非現実の「境界」の象徴です。
現実と非現実の混在する現在に生きていると、自分がどちら側にいるのか分からなくなったり自分自身が非現実の世界へ溶けてしまいそうになることがあります。
そのような感覚を鑑賞してくださる方にも味わっていただきたく思い、この作品を制作しました。

STORY
私にはやりたい事がある
やりたくてたまらない事がある
だけど色々な理由があってできない
神様だってきっと見放していて
悔しいとも思えない
もうお手上げだ
それでも私たちは前を向いて
今できる事をしなくちゃいけないんだ

This artwork is created by applying UV printing to a mirrored acrylic sheet and then adding details with acrylic paint.
Mirrors symbolize the "boundary" between reality and unreality.
Living in a world where reality and unreality are intertwined, there are times when we lose track of which side we're on, or feel like we're about to dissolve into the world of unreality.
I created this piece hoping that viewers would experience that same feeling.

*A handwritten letter from Hirose will be included with the artwork for the purchaser.

Profile

2018年東京藝術大学美術学部絵画科油画専攻卒業。
卒業後はゲーム業界でデザイナーとしての活動を経て、現在はアートとイラストの2つの領域を横断した活動をおこなう。

「デジタルと物質の境界が曖味な現実社会だからこそ可能な絵画へのアプローチ」をコンセプトに、デジタル環境で描いた作品を一度出力し、その上に描画材を用いて手を加える手法やその他様々な技法を用いた絵画作品を制作、発表。
「ひろせ」名義でイラストレーターとしても多岐にわたる作品を手掛けており、国内外のゲームやライトノベル等の人気作品にイラストを提供するなど、イラストシーンを牽引する作家の一人としても注目が集まっている。
アーティスト・イラストレーターとしても「初音ミク」を描いた実績のある、稀有な存在である。

Profile

Graduated from the Department of Painting, Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts, majoring in Oil Painting, in 2018.
After graduating, he worked as a designer in the game industry, and now works across the two fields of art and illustration.

Based on the concept of "an approach to painting that is only possible in a real world where the boundary between the digital and the physical is blurred," he creates and exhibits paintings using a variety of techniques, including printing out works created in a digital environment and then adding further refinements with painting materials.
Under the name "Hirose," he also works as an illustrator, working on a wide range of projects, providing illustrations for popular titles such as games and light novels both in Japan and abroad, and is garnering attention as one of the leading artists in the illustration scene.
As both an artist and illustrator, he is a rare presence, having previously illustrated Hatsune Miku.
