あらかじめ具体的な題材を定めず、何もない画面から描き進める中で見えてきた「鳥」や「月」の形を捉えて制作した。画面全体には、「上へ、上へと伸びていってほしい」という前向きな願いを込めている。
構造面では、描画した画面の一部を切り取り、紙を重ねることで立体的な段差を設けた。最下層の紙にはスクラッチ技法を取り入れ、表面の重なりと奥行きのあるテクスチャーを表現している。額装には、職人の手仕事による味わい深い名刺サイズの額を採用した。均一ではない額の曲線と作品の有機的な質感が響き合い、小さな空間の中に豊かな物語性を生み出している。本作品は背面に金具を備えており、壁面に掛けることはもちろん、机上に立て掛けて鑑賞することも可能である。生活の中の身近な場所で、小さな物語との対話を楽しんでいただきたい。

Without setting a specific subject in advance, it was produced by capturing the shape of "birds" and "moon" that were seen while drawing from an empty screen. The entire screen contains a positive wish of "I want it to grow up and up".
In terms of structure, a three-dimensional step was created by cutting out a part of the drawn screen and layering the paper. The bottom layer of paper incorporates a scratch technique to express the overlap of the surface and the texture with depth. For the frame, a tasteful business card-sized frame by the craftsman's work was adopted. The uneven curve of the forehead and the organic texture of the work resonate, creating a rich narrative in a small space. This work is equipped with metal fittings on the back, and it can be hung on the wall or hung on the desk and appreciated. I want you to enjoy the dialogue with small stories in a familiar place in your life.

Profile

1989 年栃木県小山市出身。2013 年多摩美術大学大学院博士前期課程絵画専攻　修了。
お笑いタレント又吉直樹さんが執筆された芥川賞受賞作品「火花」や「人間」の装丁画を担当。また、まくらちゃんというキャラクターも描いている。

私は「見えるモノと見えないモノ」というコンセプトを軸に絵を見ている人の記憶を呼び起こし想像し"みる"という行為をすることで、今見えているモノとは違う見えていなかった何かに変容する絵を描いている。

Profile

Born in Oyama City, Tochigi Prefecture in 1989. Completed the Master's Program in Painting at Tama Art University Graduate School in 2013.

She illustrated the covers for the Akutagawa Prize-winning novels "Hibana" and "Ningen," written by comedian Naoki Matayoshi. She also creates the character "Makura-chan."

My work revolves around the concept of "visible and invisible things," creating paintings that evoke memories and imagination in the viewer, transforming what is currently visible into something previously unseen through the act of "seeing."
