ジャンルー・シーフ(1933–2000)は、フランスを代表する写真家。ポーランド系の両親のもとパリに生まれ、1950年代より写真家として活動を開始した。短期間マグナム・フォトに所属した後、『Vogue』『Harper's Bazaar』『Elle』『Esquire』など世界的なファッション誌で活躍し、ファッション、ポートレート、ヌード、風景など幅広い分野で数多くの名作を残した。Ira Stehmann

Jeanloup Sieff (1933–2000) was one of France's most celebrated photographers. Born in Paris to Polish parents, he began his career in the 1950s and briefly joined the Magnum Photos agency before establishing himself internationally through commissions for leading magazines including Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, and Esquire. His work encompassed fashion, portraiture, nudes, reportage, and landscape photography. Ira Stehmann
Working almost exclusively in black and white, Sieff became renowned for his expressive use of wide-angle lenses, dramatic compositions, and masterful interplay of light and shadow.
