Created in 2020, this signed edition work (-/15) combines silkscreen and spray paint. Red and blue linear forms emerge within a pale green field, while scattered red droplets animate the surface, lending the surrounding space an almost atmospheric presence.
　
Two figures crouch low across the lower portion of the composition. Their expansive clothing and rapidly vibrating contours amplify the sense of bodily movement, as though energy were being held within each pose, poised for release into the next instant.
　
Above them, a generous expanse of open space allows the green pigment to dissolve gradually into white. The contrast between the figures’ low center of gravity and the spacious field surrounding them reveals a quieter tension within Obata’s work—one in which movement lingers even in moments of apparent stillness.
