共通文脈を喪失した流動的で匿名性の高い「超多様化社会」の都市を原風景に育ち、国内外での被災体験や神社の巫女としての経験から「境界領域」に関心を抱く。
私の制作は、身体を軸に、普遍的な「ヒト」と社会的な「個人」の両義性を見つめる絵画的実践である。古代壁画のように、有限な生への抗いと弔いの「しるし」を刻むことで、言語化しきれない境界領域へと触れる。言葉の枠組みを融解させ、自然環境下で変容する物質と交渉しながら、AI時代におけるヒトらしさの拠り所として不可侵の領域(タブー)を見出し、生命の「連続体」への回帰を問いかける。
近年は、地球を歩く多様な身体をキャンバスにした極小の絵《1mm tattoo》や、植物繊維(楮)で支持体と描画の生成を同時に行う《UTSU:SHIKI》、温暖化の気候下で顔料と染料を融解して生まれる滲みの痕跡《Borderland》、そして原理的な油絵を構築する《CONTINUUM》を展開。これらの解体と再構築の行為を通じて、境界領域を可視化するための絵画的探究を続けている。

Born in a fluid, anonymous metropolis and raised within the landscape of "super-diversity" where shared contexts have collapsed, my practice centers on the "liminal zone"—a fascination forged through surviving natural disasters and my service as a miko (shrine maiden). Grounded in the body, my work is a painting practice that navigates the duality between the universal human and the social individual. By engraving a shirushi (mark) of defiance and requiem for our finite existence—much like ancient cave paintings—I touch upon liminal spaces that defy verbalization. Dissolving linguistic frameworks through negotiations with materials that mutate under the natural environment, I position the inviolable realm of taboos as the ultimate sanctuary of humanity in the AI era, questioning how we might return to the grand continuum of life.
As a recent painting practice to manifest these concepts, I expand the boundaries of the medium across diverse series: treating the walking human body as a canvas to host the smallest dot of pigment《1mm tattoo》; simultaneously generating both substrate and drawing with plant fibers《UTSU:SHIKI》; leaving traces of bleeding born from melting pigments and dyes under a warming climate 《Borderland》; and sculpting oil paint like clay to construct a primal form of painting 《CONTINUUM》. Through these acts of dismantling and reconstruction, my work remains a painterly inquiry to visualize the liminal zone.
