井田幸昌(いだ ゆきまさ)は1990年鳥取県生まれ。2019年に東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科油画専攻を修了。現在は東京を拠点に活動している。

井田は人物像を主題とした絵画で知られ、厚く重ねられた油彩の筆致によって人物の存在感や時間の痕跡を画面に刻み込むように描く。重層的に積み重ねられた絵具の層は、描かれる人物の記憶や内面、そして時間の流れを可視化する要素として機能している。

近年は「一期一会」というテーマのもと、歴史上の人物や文化人、身近な人々など多様な人物像を描くシリーズを展開している。肖像を通して個人の存在と、その人物が生きた時代や文化、歴史との関係を浮かび上がらせる点が特徴である。国内外の美術館やギャラリーで展示を行い、国際的に活動を広げている。

Yukimasa Ida (born 1990 in Tottori, Japan) completed his MFA in Oil Painting at Tokyo University of the Arts in 2019 and is currently based in Tokyo.

Ida is known for his portrait paintings characterized by thick layers of oil paint and dynamic brushwork. Through these layered surfaces, he captures not only the physical presence of his subjects but also traces of memory, time, and personal history.

In recent years he has developed the series “Ichigo Ichie” (meaning “once-in-a-lifetime encounter”), portraying historical figures, cultural icons, and people close to him. Through portraiture, Ida explores the relationship between individuals and the cultural and historical contexts in which they exist. His work has been exhibited internationally in museums, galleries, and art fairs.
