Based in Kobe, Japan.
Graduated from Osaka University of the Arts Junior College.
In 2010, after working in advertising agency as a designer, she started to concentrate creative activities.
Her recent motifs are animal playground equipment called Melody pet.
She is visiting amusement parks all around in Japan to see Melody pets, expresses it through paintings, installations and performances.
The Melody Pets, covered in stuffed animals, are the park's rides, but there are no people there now. It used to entertain people.
In recent years, as old amusement parks have been closed down due to the diversification of entertainment and the declining birth rate, the Melody Pets have become a rarity. The used fur and charming expressions of the stuffed animal vehicles are not only cute, but also convey the sense of melancholy and madness of decadence, and even the illusion that they are still alive. Most of the melody pets that miraculously exist in today's society, which continues to develop with priority on convenience and economy, were created decades ago.
The Melody Pets still walk slowly in a corner of the amusement park, asking questions about "consumer society" and "a sense of affluence."
