トム・サックス(Tom Sachs、1966年ニューヨーク生まれ)は、日常的な素材や既製品を用いながら、ハンドメイドで再構築する手法で知られる現代アーティスト。
ニューヨークを拠点に活動し、DIY精神、ユーモア、社会や消費文化への批評性を併せ持つ立体作品やインスタレーションを数多く制作している。

段ボール、ベニヤ板、接着剤などの身近な素材を使用し、意図的に手仕事の痕跡を残すことで、ハイブランドや宇宙開発といった巨大システムの象徴を「不完全な形」で再現する。
「Brico­lage(寄せ集め工作)」を基盤とした表現は、権威やテクノロジーへの距離感を示し、同時に人間の創造力と不完全さの美を肯定するものとなっている。

コラボレーションにも積極的で、特にナイキ(NIKE)のシューズシリーズ「NIKECraft」は大きな話題を呼び、アートと消費文化の接点を刺激的に提示してきた。

Tom Sachs (born 1966 in New York) is a contemporary artist known for his distinctive handmade aesthetic, in which he reconstructs objects and systems using everyday materials such as cardboard, plywood, and hardware store supplies.
Based in New York, Sachs explores the intersection of high culture and consumerism through bricolage, humor, and critique of authority and technology.

His works recreate icons of global industry and imagery—ranging from luxury brands to space exploration—while intentionally retaining imperfections and evidence of labor.
This approach challenges notions of perfection and authenticity, celebrating human ingenuity and the imperfect beauty of the handmade.

Sachs has also gained widespread recognition for collaborations such as NIKECraft, bridging the worlds of art, design, and popular culture.
