松岡亮(まつおか りょう)は1974年東京生まれの画家。絵画を中心に、刺繍やインスタレーション、壁画など多様な手法を横断しながら制作を行っている。幼少期から描き続けてきた経験を基盤に、日常や旅の中で得た感覚や記憶を抽象的なイメージとして表現している作家である。

作品は身体的なリズムや呼吸を感じさせる線や色彩によって構成され、瞬間の感覚や感情をすくい取るように描かれる点に特徴がある。絵画に加え刺繍や布のコラージュなども用い、素材や手法を柔軟に往還しながら制作を続けている。

国内外で精力的に発表を続けており、ファッションブランドとのコラボレーションや海外ギャラリーでの展示など、多様な分野で活動を展開している。

Ryo Matsuoka (b. 1974, Tokyo) is a Japanese painter whose practice encompasses painting, embroidery, installations, and murals. Having drawn continuously since childhood, he transforms impressions from daily life and travel into abstract visual forms.

His works are characterized by rhythmic lines and vibrant colors that convey a sense of physical movement and breathing. Matsuoka moves fluidly between media, incorporating textiles and collage alongside painting to explore the expressive possibilities of materials and gesture.

He has exhibited actively both in Japan and internationally, including collaborations with fashion brands and exhibitions at overseas galleries.
