I work with the cream decoration as the principal of expressing shapes of objects. In my memory, there are cakes, which my mother, who is a teacher at a baking school, always baked. Cakes were always around me in the environment where I grew up. They imprinted deeper impression upon my sight and my memory more than anything else. I have been appealed to the method of using whipped cream as the way of expression, and I have been creating works using fake food technique, which remains the shape of whipped cream permanently. Fake food is one of Japanese unique cultures, and you can find them used for many places, such as for the window display at restaurants. I would like to fill the space with the whipped cream's pulse, vitality, and beauty of the mass.
