陶やテラコッタを主な素材として用い、実体と表層、意識と無意識、ペルソナとアニマなど相対する2つの価値観を行き来するような造形を目指し制作しています。人として生きていく上で抱えざるを得ない矛盾やズレへと向かう表現を人体という古典的、かつ普遍的なモチーフを用いて探求しています。空間や質量の中に歪みやズレを取り込みながら制作することで彫刻という実存感が強いメディアに曖昧さや割り切れなさを含ませようとしています。鑑賞者が正面を探し、不安定に立ち上がる立体の周りを歩き回ることで、「存在する」ことと「見る」という行為の間に横たわる断絶について思索を巡らせるような表現を試みています。

Using pottery and terracotta as the main materials, we aim to create a form that exchanges two opposite values, such as entity and surface, consciousness and unconsciousness, persona and anima. We are exploring the contradictions and deviations that must be held in living as a human, using the classic and universal motif of the human body. By incorporating distortions and deviations into the space and mass, we are trying to add ambiguity and indivisibility to media that have a strong sense of existence, such as sculpture. By looking around the front and walking around the three-dimensional body that stands up unsteadily, the viewer is trying to express expressions that reflect on the disconnection between "existing" and "seeing."
