日常生活での出来事や現象、収集したものを自身のフィルターを通しインプットとアウトプットを繰り返し絵画を制作するシリーズ。今まで集めた膨大なファイルの中から琴線に触れたオブジェクトをセレクトし、デジタル上でコラージュ。それをキャンバスにペインティングで落としこんでいる。そんな構成→解体→再構成のループの中で徐々に過去、現在、未来が同時に並行して進行していることに気づく。そこにできた具体と抽象のイメージとの摩擦で生じる時空の歪みが、作品の構成に多大な影響を及ぼしている。また、この作品は主に漫画や古本からの切り抜き、サンプリングによって作られているが、モチーフひとつひとつの捉え方にも自身の好む戦後から80年代にかけての大衆文化や芸能からくるノスタルジックな感覚が基準となっている。

This is a series in which he creates paintings by repeatedly inputting and outputting events and phenomena from everyday life and collected objects through his own filter. He selects objects that strike a chord from the vast amount of files he has collected, digitally collages them, and then paints them onto canvas. In this loop of composition, deconstruction, and reconstruction, he gradually becomes aware that the past, present, and future are progressing simultaneously and in parallel. The resulting distortion of space-time caused by the friction between concrete and abstract imagery has a significant impact on the composition of the work. Furthermore, while this work is primarily made up of clippings and samples from manga and old books, his approach to each motif is also guided by a nostalgic sensibility stemming from his own preference for popular culture and entertainment from the post-war to the 1980s.

Profile

1993年大阪府出身。東京在住。エンライトメント所属のアーティスト、アートディレクター、映像作家。
大阪デザイナー専門学校卒業後、カゼプロ株式会社に参加。広告やCDジャケットなどコマーシャルワークを手がけ、2020年からエンライトメントに移籍し、アーティストのヒロ杉山に師事。
昔の白黒映画やインターネットの中から誰もがどこかで見たことがあり、懐かしい。しかし、何もかもが“ファスト”な現在においてスキップされてしまうシーン。それらを集め、原初的なメディウムであるキャンバス上の油彩画に置き換えて、データを別の場所に移し替える(トランスファー)と摩擦を起こし、時空の歪みのような新たな心象風景として描き出します。
また映像作家としてアーティストのPVやMV、VJや舞台の映像制作のほかに、アートディレクターとしてもグラフィックデザインを中心に活動。デジタルのアートワークや酔っ払いを撮影した写真などで構成するZINEも毎年制作。

Profile

Artist / Art Director / Filmmaker, member of ENLIGHTENMENT
Studied under artist Hiro Sugiyama.

Drawing inspiration from films, vintage books, anime, and AI-generated imagery found online, the artist samples and digitally manipulates these materials, combining them into collage-like compositions. These are then transposed into oil paintings on canvas — one of the most fundamental analog media — translating digital data into a different physical realm. Through this process, friction arises between the digital and the analog, creating new psychological landscapes that evoke distortions of time and space.

As an art director and graphic designer, the artist works across a wide range of media, including logo and branding design, advertising, packaging, book design, websites, posters for television and stage productions, textiles for fashion brands, and CD jackets. As a filmmaker, the artist produces music videos, stage and theater visuals, and performs as a VJ in music events and collaborations with contemporary dancers. Their activities extend fluidly and borderlessly across art galleries and various creative fields.
