山口典子の代表作KEITAI GIRLの平面作品。携帯電話が一般的に普及してきたときに人とのつながりを表現した作品。
形態がスマートフォンに変わった今でも、人々はコミュニケーションのために、
画面の中の数字を押しつながりを求め続けていて、KEITAI GIRLの体を覆うキーパットはその象徴なのです。
UVプリンターで印刷された平面作品は凹凸があり、リアルな携帯電話のキーパッドが表現されています。

KEITAI GIRL (mobile phone girl) is an imaginary character created by Noriko Yamaguchi. KEITAI GIRL presents a futuristic image of human beings who have implanted electronic communication devices all over their body.
Even now that the form has changed from flip phone to smartphone, human beings still seek communication with others.
The keypad that covers KEITAI GIRL's body is a symbol of that.
A two-dimensional work printed with a UV printer has unevenness, representing a form of realistic mobile phone keypad.

2007年　京都市立芸術大学大学院美術科絵画コース油画　修了

人間のコミュニケーション感覚の変容や、皮膚感覚に基づく作品を制作。人間の感覚や感情、コミュニケーションのあり方を主題に、アナログとデジタル表現を行き来しつつ、写真、ビデオ、立体、パフォーマンス、ドローイング、マンガ、アニメーションと幅広い表現技法を扱う。

主な展覧会歴に、個展「Plaque」(MEM、東京、2015)、「第7回恵比寿映像祭」(東京都写真美術館、2015)、「かけがわ茶エンナーレ」(掛川城竹の丸、静岡、2017)、「六甲ミーツ・アート芸術散歩」(兵庫、2019)など。

主な受賞歴に、2004年第一回現代美術コンクール入賞(大阪府立現代美術センター)、2018年Sovereign Art Prize入選(香港)など。

I creates art works based on changes in human senses of communication and skin sensations.
I use a wide range of expression techniques such as photography, video, sculpture, performance, drawing, manga, and animation. I have some style of art works. I don't decide techniques to use.
