画家・イラストレーター
日常の瞬間を切り取った浮世絵や、物語や時間の変化を表した絵巻に影響を受け、これら日本古来の美術表現と現代の生活を”クール&ユーモア”をモットーに掛け合わせた、終わりのないアニメーションを絵画として描いています。
代表作は浮世絵風の表現で家電製品を描いた、今昔で異なるけれどいずれも日本的なものを組み合わせた「家電図」シリーズ。

Artist

*Japan is advocating as Japanese-ness with Japanese traditional cultures such as 'kimono', 'ukiyo-e', 'chashitu(teahouse)' and so on. Actually, most Japanese are leading a western-styre life in these days, wearing western clothes, using home appliances and living in a western room. Japanese 'incompatibirity' and 'contradiction' those were brought from coexistence of ancient times and the current foreign culture, may give negative-images. The thema for my works is to sublimate to plus-imaged humors from negative-imeges using Japanese 'incompatibility' and 'contradictions' for my subject matrials.*
