現代美術作家/1990年愛媛県生まれ、東京在住

谷口正造は、繊細で詩的なモチーフを独自の画面構成で描く現代美術作家であり、近年の国内外のアートマーケットにおいても着実に注目を集めています。2020年代以降、東京の主要ギャラリーやオルタナティブスペースでの個展を重ね、若手作家としてのプレゼンスを確立。作品は主にドローイング、アクリル、コラージュによって構成され、物語性のあるキャラクターや風景が特徴です。

現在のところには新進気鋭の作家でありながら、谷口の作品は一定のコレクションニーズとリセール市場の広がりがみられ、コレクターからの注目も高い制作者です。

Shozo Taniguchi is a contemporary artist who paints delicate and poetic motifs with a unique composition, and has steadily attracted attention in art markets both in Japan and abroad in recent years. Since the 2020s, he has held solo exhibitions at major galleries and alternative spaces in Tokyo, establishing his presence as a young artist. His works are mainly composed of drawings, acrylics, and collages, and are characterized by narrative characters and landscapes.

Although he is currently an up-and-coming artist, Taniguchi's works are in demand for certain collections and there is a growing resale market, making him a creator who is attracting a lot of attention from collectors.

Recent major exhibitions include "Flowers" (FINCH ARTS, Kyoto, 2020), "ceramic scramble" (Genron Chaos*Lounge Gotanda Atelier, Tokyo, 2019), "net/stoke GRAFFITI" (Vincom Center for Contemporary Art, Vietnam, 2017), "VOCA Exhibition 2016" (The Ueno Royal Museum, Tokyo, 2016), and "Railway Art Festival vol.5" (Art Area B1, Osaka, 2015).
