Somebody here 2013

Two years after the Great East Japan Earthquake, it became possible to visit the previously restricted areas. The place seemed like a city vacuum-packed in that moment of time.

In the dryers at the laundromat, clothes from two years ago were still left behind. The windows of washed-away cars were covered with handprints. In this now-abandoned town, I collected the traces/fingerprints of those who once lived here.
