東松 照明(とうまつ しょうめい、男性、1930年1月16日 - 2012年12月14日)は、日本・愛知県名古屋市出身の写真家。
戦後日本を代表する写真家の一人であり、ヨーロッパやアメリカでも写真展を開催するなど海外での評価も高い。複雑で文学的な構成を持つ写真作品を多く残し、戦後社会の現実や記憶を鋭く切り取る表現で知られる。
代表作には、広島をテーマにした『11時02分 NAGASAKI』や、沖縄を題材にした『沖縄 沖縄 沖縄』などがあり、歴史や土地、人々の姿を独自の視点で記録し続けた。
また、1968年に多くの同世代写真家とともに結成した写真同人誌『プロヴォーク』にも関わり、戦後日本写真の新たな流れを築く重要な役割を果たした。
その作風はしばしば「複雑で文学的」と評され、記録写真と芸術表現の境界を越えて、写真が持つ思想性や詩的な力を追求し続けた。

Shomei Tomatsu (January 16, 1930 - December 14, 2012) was a photographer from Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan.
One of Japan's leading postwar photographers, he was highly acclaimed overseas, with his exhibitions held in Europe and the United States. He left behind a profusion of photographs with complex, literary structures, known for their sharp portrayals of the realities and memories of postwar society.
His representative works include "11:02 Nagasaki," based on Hiroshima, and "Okinawa Okinawa Okinawa," based on Okinawa. He continued to record history, land, and people from his unique perspective.
He was also involved in the photography fanzine "Provoke," which he founded in 1968 with many photographers of his generation, and played a key role in establishing a new trend in postwar Japanese photography.
His style is often described as "complex and literary," and he continued to explore the ideological and poetic power of photography, transcending the boundaries between documentary photography and artistic expression.
