厚紙で組み立てたブロックや、ドローイングを施した布片を組み合わせて構成するそれらは、私自身の内に描かれた設計図であると同時に、建築物のように屹立したり、街並みのように広がったり、あるいは形を結ばぬ抽象的な空間として立ち現れる。
そのモチーフを撮影し、情報を抽出してPC上に移すことで、物質性を持っていた形象は一度「質量なき像」へと変換される。

質量を失ったイメージは、画材の色彩や質感を媒介として、再び現実の手触りを帯びながら「存在」として蘇る。
情報と物質の往復のなかで、空間の記憶は変容し、確かさと儚さとを同時に孕む世界として、画面に定着していく。

Composed of assembled cardboard blocks and pieces of cloth with drawings on them, they are simultaneously blueprints drawn up within me, and appear as towering buildings, expansive cityscapes, or formless, abstract spaces.
By photographing the motifs and extracting the information and transferring it to a PC, the material forms are transformed into "images without mass."

Having lost their mass, the images are reborn as "presence," taking on a real tactile feel through the colors and textures of the art materials.
As information and matter go back and forth, the memory of the space is transformed, and a world simultaneously containing certainty and transience is established on the canvas.
