記憶の中にあるような郊外の家を描きました。鮮やかな色彩とぼやけたようなタッチ、光と影のコントラストにより、まるで見ている人の記憶と重なるような風景を目指しています。劇的な出来事ではなく、何故だか残っている他愛ない記憶やありふれた風景の中にある個人的な感情を丁寧に描いていき、それを共有することで不確かだけれど普遍性のある物語を提示したいと考えています。

I painted a suburban house as if it were drawn from memory. With vivid colors, blurred touches, and contrasts of light and shadow, I aimed to create a scene that resonates with the viewer’s own recollections. Rather than depicting dramatic events, I carefully portray the faint yet lingering memories and the personal emotions hidden in everyday landscapes. By sharing these images, I hope to present a story that is uncertain yet universal.

Profile

1966年東京生まれ。1988年武蔵野美術大学工芸工業デザイン学科(インテリアデザイン専攻)卒業。油彩画とリソグラフによる版画作品を制作し、個展やアートフェアへの出展をメインとしながらクライアントワークを行う。また、布による動物の壁掛けオブジェFabric trophyの制作など、様々な創作活動をしている。日常の何気ない風景や人物を描きながら、記憶の曖昧さや感情の残像を表現。光と影、安らかでありながら不穏、親密さと距離感といった二面性の共存を探求し、鑑賞者それぞれの記憶と重なり合うような作品を目指している。

Profile

Born in Tokyo in 1966. Graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Industrial, Interior, and Craft Design (Interior Design major) in 1988. I create oil paintings and risograph prints, presenting them mainly in solo exhibitions and art fairs, while also working on commissioned projects. I also engage in a variety of creative practices, such as producing “Fabric Trophy”—animal wall-mounted objects made of fabric. Through depicting ordinary everyday scenes and people, I express the ambiguity of memory and the lingering traces of emotion. My work explores the coexistence of dualities—light and shadow, serenity and unease, intimacy and distance—with the aim of resonating with the personal memories of each viewer.
