山口藍による小品。

9×6cmという掌に収まるほどの小さな画面でありながら、本作品は表裏の両面に描画が施された、非常に密度の高い一点です。
一方の面には山口藍特有の静謐で内省的な人物像が描かれ、もう一方の面には余白を活かした抽象的な表情が現れています。
支持体の両面を用いることで、表と裏、像と気配といった二重性が強く意識され、作品全体に独特の緊張感と詩情を与えています。

サインは裏面に記されています。

A small piece by Yamaguchi Ai.
Although it is small, measuring 9 x 6 cm and small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, this work is extremely dense, with drawings on both sides.
One side features a tranquil, introspective figure characteristic of Yamaguchi Ai, while the other makes use of the white space to reveal an abstract expression.
By using both sides of the support, there is a strong awareness of the duality of front and back, image and presence, giving the entire work a unique sense of tension and poetry.
The work is signed on the back.
