作品の状態Condition: 全体的に概ね良好な状態です。全体にごく軽い波打ちがあります。左上角に軽いスレ汚れがあります。左上部と左下部にわずかな手ジワが見られます。右上角と左下角にごく軽いアタリがあります。左下の一部に細いスレ傷があります。右縁には、カット時に生じたと思われる紙繊維の毛羽立ちがあります。下部縁には、同じくカット時による切れ跡があります。裏面は左下角にごくわずかな汚れがあり、中央にわずかなスレ傷があります。Overall, it is in good condition with only minor signs of wear. There is very slight waviness, light scuffing and creasing, small edge fraying and a cut from trimming, and faint marks on the back.

Profile

1938年大阪生まれ。
写真家・岩宮武二、細江英公のアシスタントを経て64年独立。
写真雑誌などで作品を発表し続け、67年「にっぽん劇場」で日本写真批評家協会新人賞受賞。
68-70年には写真同人誌『プロヴォーク』に参加し、ハイコントラストや粗粒子画面の作風は“アレ・ブレ・ボケ”と形容された。
ニューヨーク・メトロポリタン美術館やパリ・カルティエ現代美術財団で個展を開催するなど、世界的評価も高い。
代表作に『写真よさようなら』(72年)、『狩人』(72年)、『光と影』(82年)、『Daido-hysteric』(93-97年)、『新宿+』『大阪+』(02年)、『記録』(07年)、『ハワイ』(08年)など。

Profile

Born in Ikeda, Osaka, DaidM Moriyama studied photography under Takeji Iwamiya before moving to Tokyo in 1961 to work as an assistant to Eikoh Hosoe. He produced a collection of photographs, Nippon gekijM shashinchM , which showed the darker sides of urban life and the less-seen parts of cities. In them, he attempted to show how life in certain areas was being left behind the other industrialised parts.
Though not exclusively, Moriyama predominantly takes high contrast, grainy, black and white photographs within the Shinjuku area of Tokyo, often shot from odd angles.
Moriyama's photography has been influenced by Seiryk Inoue, ShM mei TM matsu, William Klein, Andy Warhol,[2] Eikoh Hosoe, the Japanese writer Yukio Mishima, the dramatist Shk ji Terayama,[3] and Jack Kerouac's On the Road.
