Profile

1981年、新潟県南魚沼市生まれ。
2004年、武蔵野美術大学造形学部卒業。

文具メーカー、Web制作会社、ゲームメーカー勤務を経て、2014年よりフリーランスのアーティスト/イラストレーターとして活動を開始。

NHK Eテレの番組イラストレーションをきっかけに、サンリオ、BEAMS、Red Bull、日清カップヌードルなど、企業やブランドとのコラボレーションを多数手がける。広告分野では、トヨタカローラ、CONVERSE、GU、健康保険組合連合会、JR西日本などに作品が使用され、2022年からは3年間にわたり、イタリア全土の老舗百貨店 Rinascente の広告ビジュアルに起用された。音楽分野では、でんぱ組.inc、YUKI、Little Glee Monster、マカロニえんぴつなどのCDジャケットビジュアルを担当。2021年にはNintendo Switch用ゲームソフト『No More Heroes 3』にてキャラクターデザインを手がけ、海外を中心に多くのファンを獲得している。

Profile

Born in 1981 in Minamiuonuma, Niigata, Japan.

Graduated from Musashino Art University, Faculty of Art and Design, in 2004.
After working at a stationery manufacturer, a web production company, and a game company, he began his career as a freelance artist and illustrator in 2014.
Starting with illustration work for NHK Educational TV, he has collaborated with numerous brands and companies including Sanrio, BEAMS, Red Bull, and Nissin Cup Noodles.

In the field of advertising, his work has been used by Toyota Corolla, CONVERSE, GU, the National Federation of Health Insurance Societies, and JR West. From 2022, he was selected to create advertising visuals for Rinascente, a historic Italian department store, for three consecutive years across Italy.
In music-related projects, he has created CD jacket visuals for artists such as Dempagumi.inc, YUKI, Little Glee Monster, and Macaroni Empitsu.
In 2021, he was responsible for character design for the Nintendo Switch game No More Heroes 3, gaining a large international fan base.
