作品を実際に目にした時の素材の"リアル感"をより強く感じることができるよう、こちらの作品は特別な手法を用いた印刷によって制作しました。
画面の所々が無機質なアルミ板に似た質感になるような印刷技術を用い、さらにその上に描画材で加筆をして制作しています。

This work was produced using a special printing technique so that the viewer can feel the realism of the materials even more strongly when they see the work in person.
A printing technique was used to give parts of the image a texture similar to inorganic aluminum plate, and then additional touch-ups were made on top of that using drawing materials.

Profile

2018年東京藝術大学美術学部絵画科油画専攻卒業。
卒業後はゲーム業界でデザイナーとしての活動を経て、現在はアートとイラストの2つの領域を横断した活動をおこなう。
「デジタルなもの・物質を伴い存在するものとの境界が曖昧になっている現代だからこそできる絵画へのアプローチ」をコンセプトに、デジタル環境で描いた作品を一度出力し、その上に描画材を用いて手を加える手法やその他様々な技法を用いた絵画作品を制作、発表。
「ひろせ」名義でイラストレーターとしても多岐にわたる作品を手掛けており、国内外のゲームやライトノベル、「初音ミク」等の人気作品にイラストを提供するなど、イラストシーンを牽引する作家の一人としても注目が集まっている。

Profile

Graduated from the Department of Painting, Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts, majoring in Oil Painting, in 2018.
After graduating, he worked as a designer in the game industry, and now works across the two fields of art and illustration.

Based on the concept of "an approach to painting that is only possible in a real world where the boundary between the digital and the physical is blurred," he creates and exhibits paintings using a variety of techniques, including printing out works created in a digital environment and then adding further refinements with painting materials.
Under the name "Hirose," he also works as an illustrator, working on a wide range of projects, providing illustrations for popular titles such as games and light novels both in Japan and abroad, and is garnering attention as one of the leading artists in the illustration scene.
As both an artist and illustrator, he is a rare presence, having previously illustrated Hatsune Miku.
