大澤巴瑠(おおさわ はる)は1997年東京都生まれ、京都を拠点に活動するアーティスト。2020年に多摩美術大学美術学部油画科を卒業後、2022年に京都芸術大学大学院芸術研究科美術工芸領域油画科を修了。

作品では「複製」という行為に着目し、デジタルイメージをアナログの手法によって再現するプロセスを通して、オリジナルとコピーの関係や美術作品の価値の曖昧さを可視化している。複製の過程で生じるズレや歪みは、単なる再現を超えた新たなイメージとして現れ、唯一性と再生産性の境界を問いかける。

代表的なシリーズに《onomatopoeia》や《消失と誘発》があり、コピー機や印刷技術を用いた制作プロセスによって、複製と創造の往復から生まれる独自の絵画表現を展開している。

Hal Osawa (born 1997 in Tokyo) is a contemporary artist based in Kyoto. She graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Tama Art University in 2020 and completed her MFA in Oil Painting at Kyoto University of the Arts in 2022.

Her work focuses on the act of “reproduction,” exploring the ambiguous relationship between original and copy. By translating digital images into analog processes, Osawa visualizes the instability of artistic value and authorship. Distortions and deviations produced through copying processes transform reproduced images into new originals, questioning the boundary between uniqueness and replication.

Major series include onomatopoeia and Disappearance and Induction, in which copying devices and printing processes play a central role. Through the repetition of reproduction and reinterpretation, she develops a distinctive painterly language that examines originality in the age of mechanical and digital reproduction.
