無機質な感情〜あふれる感情〜 Robotic emotion ①〜 Overflowing〜

基準に満たず製品になれない電子部品でつくられたART。
大量生産される部品がまるで有機的な生物のように感情が宿っているかのような表現を試みました。銀色の金属の世界を引き裂いて、溢れ出る電子部品たち。新しい空間に解き放たれた彼らはどんな感情を持つんだろう?細胞もDNAをもとに複製されていきます。電子部品も細胞も私たち人間の社会とてもよく似ていると強く感じます。

ART is made from electronic components that do not meet the criteria to become a product.
I tried to express the emotions of these mass-produced parts as if they were organic organisms. Electronic parts overflowing, tearing the silvery metal world. What kind of feelings will they have when they are released into the new space? Cells are also replicated based on DNA. I strongly feel that electronic components and cells are very similar to our human society.

手術室看護師からヘアメイクアップアーティストへ転身し、その活動の中でアート作品を作り始める。
鮮やかで透明な樹脂とワイヤーを組み合わせた独自の作品は、不可思議でスタイリッシュ。

Profile

Limo is a headpiece and mask artist based in Tokyo Japan.
She changed her career from an operation room nurse to a hair stylist and makeup artist. During her career change, she started to create headpieces. Her style is quite unique. It is mysterious, dark, and organic, but often mechanical at the same time.
She is the only makeup artist to research the method of hairstyle and makeup for humanoid robots.
