A centipede who encountered a human for the first time. It was almost killed, and deeply hurt and saddened. Friends came to console him.

Profile

人間の影響を受けて変化していく生き物たちを描くことで、自分達が抱える問題を客観的にみることはできないか。また、言葉を持たないそれらの生き物の情動を探る時のように、多様な価値観を持って議論し、問題と向き合うことはできないか。そのような問いかけを、糾弾ではない方法で行うことを自身の制作の課題としています。

Profile

By depicting creatures that are changing under the influence of humans, I aim to look objectively at the issues human society faces. And I want to discuss and confront them with diverse values, just as when exploring the emotions of these creatures without languages. The challenge of my creation is to do so in a way that is not a rebuke of society's problems, with allegorical elements.
