My works break the boundary between two-dimensional and three-dimensional, painting and sculpture, inside and outside, by　folding supports such as canvas and paper.
The support goes beyond its role as a foundation for expression, becoming visible on the surface and intuitively　participating in the expression of the work.
I am pursuing a new way of painting by incorporating "origami," an ancient Japanese game, into my works beyond the　boundaries of two-dimensional painting.
