“包まれるシリーズ”では全て同じモチーフをもとに描いています。ただ、同じ角度ではなく様座な角度から作品を描くことで描き方も変容させています。
また、全てに朱赤の色を作品のどこかに使っています。これはお守りをイメージしています。“包む”とは何かと考えた時、大切なものを包む時に使われるのではないかと考えました。人々を守ってくれる魔除けの意味を持つ朱赤を作品に取りいれることで作品を飾った人々を災いから守ってくれるそんな存在になってくれたらと思いながら制作しました。

All of them are drawn based on the same motif in the "Wrapped Series". However, the way of drawing is changed by drawing the work from a sitting angle, not from the same angle.
In addition, the vermilion color is used somewhere in the work for everything. This is an image of a amulet. When I thought about what "wrapping" is, I thought it might be used when wrapping important things. I made it with the hope that by incorporating vermilion, which has the meaning of an amulet that protects people, into the work, it will become such an existence that protects the people who decorated the work from disaster.

Profile

1989 年栃木県小山市出身。2013 年多摩美術大学大学院博士前期課程絵画専攻　修了。
お笑いタレント又吉直樹さんが執筆された芥川賞受賞作品「火花」や「人間」の装丁画を担当。また、まくらちゃんというキャラクターも描いている。

私は「見えるモノと見えないモノ」というコンセプトを軸に絵を見ている人の記憶を呼び起こし想像し"みる"という行為をすることで、今見えているモノとは違う見えていなかった何かに変容する絵を描いている。

Profile

Born in Oyama City, Tochigi Prefecture in 1989. Completed the Master's Program in Painting at Tama Art University Graduate School in 2013.

She illustrated the covers for the Akutagawa Prize-winning novels "Hibana" and "Ningen," written by comedian Naoki Matayoshi. She also creates the character "Makura-chan."

My work revolves around the concept of "visible and invisible things," creating paintings that evoke memories and imagination in the viewer, transforming what is currently visible into something previously unseen through the act of "seeing."
