伝統的な文化を新たな視点で解釈し、見慣れた景色に変化をもたらすことを目指した。そこで、伝統的な造形美を象徴する盆栽と、近現代的な造形美を持つ怪獣を組み合わせる試みを通じて、自国の文化を再考するきっかけを提供し、これまでにない価値観を生み出す可能性に挑戦した。

I will participate in the exhibition with works on the theme of bonsai. Through an attempt to combine bonsai, which symbolizes the beauty of traditional forms, and monsters, which have modern and contemporary forms, the artist challenged the possibility of creating an unprecedented sense of value by providing an opportunity to reconsider one's own culture.

日本の伝統文化やポップカルチャーの要素を借用し形態・文脈を再構成し発展させることで、
鑑賞者に既存の価値観や文化を問いかける活動をしている。
制作において物体が持つ造形やブランド・歴史・コンテンツに着目し、
作品の多くはヒーローや怪獣を模したソフトビニール人形や、ゲームカセット等のオブジェクトを素材として構成しており、
それらが持つ象徴性や文脈を活かしながら、新たな表現を模索している。
