そして重なり合う色彩を通して、
「不完全さ」を受け入れ、完璧でないことを許してゆく。

許し、緩めることで、心はふっと軽くなり、
生きやすさが生まれていく――。

その“不完全さ”の先に見えてくる本質を問いかけるシリーズです。

By freeing the soul and drawing lines, dots, and overlapping colors born from the realm of the unconscious, one can accept and forgive "the imperfect self, imperfect others, and imperfect events." By forgiving and relaxing, the heart becomes lighter and life becomes easier - this is the idea behind the work.

Profile

1975年福岡市生まれ、兵庫県姫路市出身、愛媛県在住。
具体美術協会の前衛芸術家嶋本昭三に師事し「今までにないものをつくれ」という具体の精神を学び、平面作品にセメントを用いる独自の作風を確立した。

幼少期から強い劣等感に苦しんでいたが、絵を通じて内なる自分を表現することで「魂と身体」が繋がる感覚を体験し救われた。
この原体験をもとに、無機質なセメントに人々の内なる陰を投影し、そこに陽を象徴する鮮やかな色彩を重ねることで、「不完全さも完全さもあってこそ、人は輝く」というメッセージを軸に、現代人の心に“生きる希望”を呼び醒ますことをコンセプトに作品を生み出している。

これまでにアジア、フランスなど国内外で展示し、企業とのコラボレーションやパブリックアートも手がけ、活動は多岐にわたる。

Profile

Born in Fukuoka in 1975, originally from Himeji, and currently living in Ehime Prefecture.

He studied under Shozo Shimamoto, an avant-garde artist from the Gutai Art Association, learning the Gutai spirit of "creating something that has never been done before," and established his own style of using cement in two-dimensional works.

Since childhood, he suffered from a strong inferiority complex, but by expressing his inner self through painting,
he experienced a sense of "soul and body" becoming one, which saved him.

Based on this experience, he projects the dark and shadowy aspects of people's inner selves onto inorganic cement, and overlays vivid colors that symbolize light and sunshine on top of it, based on the concept that "people shine with imperfection and perfection," awakening "hope to live" in the hearts of modern people and continuing to convey the joy of living one's true self to viewers and society.
