This is a set of three works from "elevatorgirl," the debut series by Miwa Yanagi, who was selected to represent Japan at the 2009 Venice Biennale and has since gained international recognition.

This series consists of photographic works from the 1990s featuring anonymous women in elevator girl uniforms, standing in timeless silence within modern buildings. It attracted attention for its use of large-scale photographic works created with computer graphics to depict the daily lives of women trapped in a closed, inescapable space.
