自然への憧れをテーマとしたツノ人間の「リトルペルヒタシリーズ」(2016-)を制作する日々の中で一羽の雛スズメと出会い、2日間を過ごした。　手のひらの中で、小さく小さく鼓動するまだ生まれて間もない彼(私たちはピヨちゃんと呼んだ)は、私にとって、とても大きな先生のようだった。　そしてまるで、ツノが生えてくるくらいに憧れた「自然」が、ひとつまみだけ私に分けて見せてくれたようだった。
